EXPOSICION ESTANDAR DE FLORES del GRUPO EL CEIBO GARDEN CLUB, Córdoba
En el Jardín Botánico de la ciudad de Córdoba, Argentina, los días 13 y 14 de octubre de 2018, se realizó la Exposición NGC de Flores “DIVERSIDAD. Naturaleza y Cultura”, coincidiendo con la fecha del Día de la Diversidad Cultural Americana, que conmemora el día en que Colón tocó tierra de América y comenzó un proceso de mestizaje de razas y culturas.
Se organizaron divisiones de Horticultura, Diseño, Artes botánicas y Educación.
La división Diseño abordó los títulos: ENCUENTRO (bajo relieve); MIXTURA (tapiz); DIMENSIÓN (enmarcado espacial); RELACIÓN (diseño mono botánico); HERENCIA (mesa exhibición) y RITMOS (diseño petite).
La división Educación, De América al mundo, desarrolló los temas: Especies tintóreas, Especies alimenticias y Especies medicinales.
La división Artes botánicas abordó los títulos: CREAMOS (jardines de hadas); DIÁLOGO (guirnalda- diseño colgante); DIFERENTES (pot et fleur) y DESAFÍO (topiario).
La selección de títulos y de los diversos tipos de diseños estuvo inspirada en el lema Diversidad, naturaleza y cultura, que dio nombre a la muestra.
Participaron treinta expositores y tres paneles de jurados, entre los que se encontraban cuatro jurados uruguayas.
Hubo venta de plantas producidas por las socias, como única fuente de ingresos.
