PLANT MARKET 2016: UNA JORNADA LLENA DE COLOR

Queridas amigas; quiero felicitar enormemente a las socias del Grupo Olivos y a la socia y organizadora Rosario Sicca Santucci por el maravilloso Plant Market 2016: alegre decoración, stands invitados, y delicias para la hora del té. Pero, por sobre todo, plantas, muchas plantas. Cada stand presentó interesantes propuestas comenzando por una gran variedad de plantas, bulbos y semillas, pasando por elementos de decoración para las jardineras -como junta bolsas de tela con forma de animales en colores divertidos y baldes con plantas para colgar en la pared-, hasta mermeladas y café para combatir el frio. Todo una delicia para los sentidos.
Las socias del grupo Riverside, al que pertenezco, llevamos los banners y ayudamos en el desarmado de la expo una vez finalizado. Como siempre hubo rifas y nuestra compañera y tesorera Lorraine Thomas se encargó íntegramente de contar lo recaudado y anotar los resultados sección por sección para luego informarle y pasarle la posta a la tesorera del grupo organizador Estela Dunstan quien se encargará del resto.
Para nuestro deleite, nos acompañó un día soleado como pocos y al abrigo del sol pasamos unas horas maravillosas intercambiando conocimientos y momentos entre todas. La jornada tuvo un plus que fue la presencia de un funcionario NOMBRE Y APELLIDO de la ciudad (QUÉ CIUDAD), invitado por nuestra socia Sicca Santucci , quien nos contó sobre progresos en cuanto al tratamiento y separación de residuos, y proveyó de bolsas ecológicas reutilizables a todos los stands. Bolsas que nos llevamos para que cumplan su función ya que son muy prácticas. Los esperamos en la próxima aventura y los invitamos a que vengan con sus amigas y seguir sumando amantes de la jardinería.
